Convert Your Foreign CPL to Indian CPL with CNJAA

Below is an overview of the steps involved in obtaining your Indian CPL:

1. Eligibility Criteria

To begin the conversion process, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Valid Foreign CPL: You must hold a current and valid CPL issued by a recognized aviation authority.
  • Medical Certificate: A valid medical certificate from your country of origin and Indian dgca class 1 medical is required to proceed.

 

2. Medical Examination

  • You must undergo a Class 1 Medical Examination by a DGCA-approved medical examiner.
  • CNJAA will guide you through the process and provide assistance in locating DGCA-approved medical centers to ensure you meet the required physical and mental health standards.

 

3. Skill Test (Check Ride)

  • A flight skill test and conversion flying (check ride) with a DGCA examiner is required to assess your flying proficiency.
  • CNJAA’s experienced instructors will help you prepare for the skill test, ensuring you’re fully ready to demonstrate your ability to handle various flight maneuvers and operational conditions.
  • Conversion flying includes:-
  • 250 nm cross country day.
  • 150 nm cross country night
  • Skill test by Day/Night
  • Instrument Rating test
  • Above are the mandatory test to be done in India.

 

4. License Endorsement and Issuance

After successfully completing your flying medical check and skill test, the DGCA will issue your Indian CPL, after successful completion medical test and flying training Dgca will issue Indian  CPL to candidate, CNJAA will assist you in finalizing the process and ensure you meet all regulatory requirements.
